Roth
William Roth married to Mary. Mary died then Veronica Bassler. Had multiple children by both. Mary had been married to a Frances Roth prior to William. I am seeking any information about William's siblings or parents. He immigrated to US in 1832 at age 2. One of his son's names is Lawrence Roth who married Katy-Regina Roth. She died then he married Mary Elizabeth Norcut. Lawrence is my great-grandfather. I have no knowledge of Mary Elizabeth or her family. I believe I found her on a 1910 census living with a brother named Robert. Her death certificate stated she died of diphtheria in her early twenties leaving her husband with two small girls and multiple step-children by his previous marriage. Her parents are listed as Sophia Holtz and James Northcutt. But I am unable to find them on any census. 1910 has Robert being born in Illinois but her death certificate has Mary born to Ste. Genevieve County. Oral family history says she was from the Ozora area. Thanks. |
