Current as of 10-18-02 with a few updates made 09-26-06 This cemetery is located on Trodgon Road which is just inside the Ste. Genevieve Co, border (next to St. Francois Co) off of Highway 32. The cemetery is not far back on the left and up a little hill. It can be easy to miss, so look carefully. It comes right after a field and there is an old gate to the entrance (other than that, it is surrounded by trees), please click the image to your left to see the gate. Please click on the image to the left of each individual for a larger view. These photos were taken September 25, 2006 by webmaster Valerie Holifield. If you need a full size image, please contact me and will be happy to oblige. Please contact before using these photos on any other website, etc. Thank you. | ???, William 15 Nov 1847 - 21 Dec 1885 Most likely this is William Sutherland (see Lila Sutherland) | | Carmichael, Ethel M. 17 May 1947 - 27 Apr 2003 Carmichael, Robert H. 10 Dec 1944 - 20 Dec 2002; WT3 US Coast Guard Vietnam | | Daglish, George C. 14 Apr 1869 - 24 Dec 1920 Daglish, Mary L. 30 Apr 1880 - 28 Feb 1841 | | Gillespie, John Bowen 1 Dec 1803 - 20 Sep 1878; born Tazwell, VA Gillespie, Mary Katherine Straw 6 Jun 1805 - 22 May 1876; born Withville, VA | | Huver, David 28 May 1849 - 25 Aug 1892; h/o Margeret Huver Huver, Margaret 23 Mar 1844 - 20 Apr 1901; w/o David Huver | | Marks, Infant 10 Aug 1892 - 16 Aug 1892 s/o Wm & Kate | | Phillips, Bert D. 4 Apr 1875 - 8 Jul 1947 | | Phillips, Bradbury R. 1 Jun 1910 - 2 Nov 1945 | | Phillips, John G. 27 Nov 1852 - 12 Dec 1924 Phillips, Beatrice M. 18 May 1852 - 28 Oct 1928 | | Phillips, Mamie Rudy 2 Aug 1875 - 17 May 1844 | | Phillips, Mortimer O. 16 Jul 1907 - 30 Nov 1969 Phillips, Carrie E. 14 May 1905 - 5 Sep 1990 | | Phillips, Oscar M. 31 Oct 1876 - 27 Jun 1947 Phillips, Mattie E. 15 Dec 1886 - 1 Apr 1973 | | Powell, Susan 6 Sep 1855 - 15 Mar 1915 | | Ragsdale, Lester C. 22 May 1903 - 28 Jan 1971 Ragsdale, Edna Pear 30 Apr 1907 - 1 Nov 2000 | | Ragsdale, John William 18 Apr 1938 - 13 Oct 1957; MO CPL Artillery | | Rudy, ?? G. Rudy, we did not have that stone in the original transcription and when I took photos of the individual stones four years later, I got the photo that you will see by this name. Besides not wantting to distrurb the cemetery/stones any, I figured I could decipher it once I compared the photos to the transcription. But since this stone was not originally in the transcription (possibly it was completely covered up when we did the transcription and we walked right over it) all we have is the information that can be seen on the stone. For now. I cannot tell, since there is at least another line of writing under the 1871 if that is date of birth or death. I apologize for any inconvenience. ** I do not have a photo of this stone and I am unsure as to why. It is possible that I missed it when photographing, but I was very careful to look for everything. Or it is possible that I thought it was a footstone as it was unreadable. Or it is possible that it was moved, damaged, or is now gone. *** Each of these babies/children is listed on the family stone with their parents as well as having their own stone.
