The Ste. Genevieve County Master Gardeners, Inc., a University of Missouri Extension Service program, is proud to announce its 2010 Ste. Genevieve Spring Garden Walk to be held Saturday, May 15th, and Sunday May 16th. Public and private gardens will be open and will feature herbs, gardening in small spaces, water features, roses, plants for shade as well as flower and vegetable gardens. The Garden Walk hours will be 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. A Master Gardeners plant sale will begin at 9:00 a.m. each day. Other plants sales will be available in the downtown area. If you would like to mix gardening with local history, a walking tour of the historic district will be conducted at 1:30 pm each day. Other events, attendance prizes, and ticket prices will be announced as they are finalized.
