Hello everyone!  The site has been successfully upgraded... however... this meant that none of my plugins or components or modules or anything at all worked with the new version.  (So typical!)  Since I am so anxious to get this out there, I'm putting the new site into production.  However, you might notice some things are missing or not fully functional.  This includes the discussion boards, surname registry, and certain email forms/submission tools.

Discussion Boards are running but the posts are not there as I was not able to convert them over.  However, the posts are not completely lost, I do have them and have plans for getting them back in there in some way.  In the meantime please feel free to post and get some discussion going.

The Surname Registry is getting a complete overhaul and I have to enter in everyone's info one by one.  I will do this as I can as well as the new submissions I've been getting as I worked on this.  However, with the new system, you must be registered with an account to list your surnames.  Registering is not a big deal and you will not receive spam.  In fact, you will receive no email from this site once you've confirmed your membership unless you subscribe to a discussion post or some other opt-in method.  If you have never registered here, I encourage you to go ahead and do so.  Users with surname submits who do not have an account will be emailed with information on creating an account.  Also, in the meantime, to sign up for the surname submit please fill out the regular contact form (see menu above).

I hope to start filling in the other little things and fixing things like missing images, etc., as soon as possible.  Sadly, it's a slow going process.  If you see anything wrong with the site please let me know via the contact form so that I don't miss anything.  Thanks!
