What will my tree look like?

Wondering what this thing is going to look like, or what color schemes you can choose from?

The first section of these pages will contain screenshots of what the pages the visitors will see look like using my personal family tree.  Note that the images that are shorter than others, I have cropped off the bottom of the page, since the footer remains the same on all pages (contains the flags for translations) to save my server some space and to save dialup users some heartache.

The second section will be administration images, also taken from my personal family tree.  The same note as above applies.

The third section will contain color schemes available for you to choose for your tree at stegenevieve.net.

The following is the main page:

The box to the left contains statistics such as how many images are in the tree, individuals, census records, and documents.  The middle box first contains a random image.  This will pull images from records not protected if the person viewing does not have sufficient rights to view other images.  Below that are birth, death, and wedding anniversaries coming up in approximately the next two weeks, including how many years ago they occurred.  To the right is a list of individuals that have most recently had changes made to their pages.

You should notice the flags at the bottom of the page.  There are several translations available (translates words and phrases that are built into the program such as "images" and "add a new person" and "birthdate" etc, not the notes you enter on a person) and visitors can click their appropriate flag for at least some translation.  This appears at the bottom of all pages, but will be removed from subsequent screenshots.

The following is the log-in form:

This is the page you would see if you clicked to recover your password:

This is the image gallery.  It will load thumbnails of all images in the tree, according to what rights the visitor has (if they can view protected records or not).

This is the listing of all people in the tree, again subject to what rights the visitor has.  First listed are surnames and then individuals.  You can click on a surname to reach the group of people who have that name.

Image

This is a view of an individual person's page.  Here you can see their name and dates at the top and the boxes at the middle contain name, dates, places, parents, siblings, and their spouses are in that bottom line of those boxes.  The text below is from the notes field of a person.

This is the bottom view of an individual's page.  Here you can see their personal image gallery, census items, and finally document transcriptions.

Clicking on an image will take you to the full view of that image (see below), clicking on a census schedule will take you to a listing of all individuals on that census who are also in the tree (see below) and clicking on the name of a document will download it.
(Note about census schedules - when entering these individuals, the census schedule field must be entered exactly the same for each individual or they will not match.)

This is a page for an individual image.

This is the page for a census listing.

This is the pedigree view for an individual.

This is where your visitors can email you, straight from any page by clicking the link that talks about notifying the webmaster with any problems.

Image

This is the preferences page that can be reached by any registered user (not normal visitors).  They can change their email address or the style they want to view the site with (if more than one is available, etc.
