Probably you notice the new section in the left side: Related Items. I haven't used this until now because I just now figured out how to use it. It uses keywords from the articles and if two keywords match, they are placed in the list of related items for that article. Since I haven't been using this feature until now, the articles do not have keywords inputed for them to use. So if it's blank underneat where it says Related Items, that's probably why. (That or there are no related items for that, but most will have at least one, I figure.)
Now, I am looking for a person or people who would be interesting in helping out with this. This would be a temporary "assignment" to help me finish adding keywords to pages that are already on stegenevieve.net. If you are interested, please let me know by filling out the contact form, see the menu bar for that. Basically what I need people to do is take a group of pages (say the Cemetery records or Newspaper articles) and type up a list of surnames or important keywords that appear on the page. This can simply be done by copying the page to a text document or email and deleting out everything but those keywords, then separating the words with commas. When emailed to me, I can add them to the appropriate articles. Of course, one would not need to write "obvious" words like cemetery for a cemetery record (otherwise it would list every cemetery as related even if no surnames match between the two). So if you can help, it would be greatly appreciated and let me know! |
