Okay, so I've registered and logged in and now I see a link for Registered Users with a bunch of links in that page. Can you explain what all of that junk is to
me?
Sure!
Your Details
Clicking this will take you to a page where you can edit your name,
email address, username, and password. This will make changes for
the site as a whole (for you) but will not affect the "My Profile" part
of the message boards. Please see the message board help section
for more information on that.
Add Gallery Image
Any registered user can submit an image to the gallery. You
start by clicking this link. However, you should first read the
FAQ in the images section before attempting to add an image as you will
need to create your own personal gallery before submitting images.
Please use discretion when submitting images. If you have photos
of the living and don't have their express permission or aren't 99%
sure they wouldn't mind, please do not submit it until you ask them.
Submit Weblink
This link will take you to a page for submitting a link to the
links section (as seen on the main menu). All you have to do is
enter in a name, pick the most appropriate category, enter the address,
and enter a short description. Feel free to submit your own
websites!!
Please note that all submissions to this section must go through an
administrator before being published to the site. The webmaster
reserves any right to edit the name, description, category, etc as
needed.
Other Submit Buttons
The other submit buttons link to the submit form for the
appropriate categories. However, if you are not an "author" user,
you will not be granted access to these forms. I've tried to
remove those buttons to registered users who aren't authors or
publishers, etc but so far have been unsuccessful.
To gain access to these forms, please contact the webmaster (contact
link on your left) and tell her what you would like to submit.
All submissions in that fashion also must be approved by an administrator before being published to the site.
Logout
Logs you out of the site! ;-)
