The 1850 census for Ste Genevieve City lists a Julie DuFour together with her children Melvina 14, Julie 13, Mary 10, Charles 8, Francis 6, Adolph 4 and Joseph 2. No husband is listed. My great grandmother, Julie DuFour was born in late 1836 to Theophile Dufour and Julie Tessero, who were married in 1834 in Ste Genevieve, and she had siblings named Mary, Charles, Francis, Adolph and Joseph. I believe this is her family and that her father had probably died by the date of this census. Does anyone have any information about this family? Thanks.
