passenger lists/immigration - 2006/11/21 08:20 Ancestry.com is offering free search on their immigration and passenger lists through the end of November. You have to register on their site and I found that I couldn't save or print their actual digitized records but you can do a "print screen" if you find a record.
It's also a good time to remind you that the Ste. Gen library offers Ancestry.com in the library. We need to suppport this service so the library will continue to offer it to the community.

Re:passenger lists/immigration - 2006/11/23 20:38 I have found three ancesters on this to date. To copy the passanger list you have to save the file to your computer and then can print it out using your printer program in most cases.

I have found Gallus Lurk and Gertrude Wipfler, both settled in Ste. Genevieve with their parents and later would be married to each other here in the new world.

It's a great tool for research!
