“A Midwestern View: The Artists of the Ste. Genevieve Art Colony,” exhibiting at MAA through May 15, gives viewers an expanded vision of the Midwestern landscape through an intimate look at one of its landmarks. Proving Pixley’s point, it showcases styles along a spectrum from cubism to regionalism, impressionism to abstract expressionism.
