Mrs. R.G. CAMPBELL, of St. Louis, is here visiting her mother, Mrs. MENARD.
Miss Katie VALLE, of St. Louis, is visiting Misses Lucy and Constance
Miss Josephine DUPONT of St. Louis is spending a few weeks in town, the

Mr. A.C. HERTICH went to Perry Co., last Monday evening on business. He

of her brother, Mr. Hy. S. SHAW.
Mr. Theodore DEFFNER left for Mascoutah, Ill., last Friday night, where he
has secured a position as teacher.
Miss Mina SCHLOSSER, who has been spending a few weeks at home, returned to
St. Louis last Monday on the Hudson.
Mrs. Hy. HERMANN and Mrs. Ed. BLANDFORD, of Farmington, are here visiting
their parents, Mr. and Mrs. FRICHETTE.
Our young friend friend, Joseph A. LAWRENCE, and Hy. ELDERS, of Lawrenceton,
paid our sanctum a pleasant call on Monday last.
