1860 Census: Introduction 1860 Census: Introduction
1860 Census: Introduction

The 1860 census is being transcribed from the images by Betty O'Bryan and we are all very grateful for all of her hard work and dedication!

Please note that this census is a work in progress.  Information is added as it is finished.

Also note that this census is transcribed in the following format:

Page, Township, Date Information

Household numbers
Member of Household
Member of Household
Member of Household

But because sometimes a household is split between two pages, you might find a family listed both before and after a page information block.  Because of this, if you are researching a family who is listed lastly on a page, always check the following page just to make sure you're not missing anyone!

Check the original images when available, too!
