Concord Cemetery is located off of Concord School Road, which is off of Highway OO, very near Interstate 55. If you are driving North on I-55, you will be able to see the cemetery just after you go under the OO/DD overpass. It will be on your right, up on top of a cliff.
Unfortunately, the Concord Schoolhouse no longer stands. It was once in the parking area of the cemetery. The first time I saw it (and only time I saw it up close), it was already in bad shape. If I remember correctly, there weren’t any windows and it had graffiti on it, aside from the usual wear-and-tear of a building that old. From what I understand, a bad storm hurt it badly and it came down soon afterward – either sometime in 2004 or very early 2005.
